Marco Bezzecchi will be looking to record his second victory of the 2025 MotoGP season by clinching the
German MotoGP title.

The Aprilia Racing rider secured a podium spot at the Dutch MotoGP on June 29, the most recent event on the 2025 MotoGP calendar.
Bezzecchi started on the fifth grid, but he went on to finish second and he also finished third in the sprint event, which saw him accumulate 27 points in the Netherlands.
MotoGP title ambitions
The 26-year-old is placed sixth in the 2025 MotoGP Riders' standings, having collected 121 points from 10 races.
Bezzecchi is 25 points behind fifth-placed Fabio Di Giannantonio of Ducati and 186 points behind leader, Marc Marquez of Ducati.
Why Bezzecchi could win the 2025 German MotoGP
The former Redox PrüstelGP rider will be in a confident mood after securing his second podium spot of the season in the Netherlands, having won the 2025 British MotoGP.
Bezzecchi, who finished third in the 2021 German Moto2, will be eager to go one step further and win this weekend's race.
What did he say?
"It was a fantastic race," Bezzecchi said after finishing second at the 2025 Dutch MotoGP.
"In spite of a less than perfect start, I managed to stay in the group of fastest riders straight away and make up a few positions rapidly, moving into second place.
"In the final laps I started to drop off a bit as I had truly arrived at the limit with the rear tyre. It was a brilliant weekend. I hadn’t been on the podium on both Saturday and Sunday for a long time, so I’m rather happy."
